Composed and arranged by Max for the album Take Me Up, based on a 1981 session in the Terra Incognita loft in which Max played guitar, Mark Twohy played fiddle, and Scott Rankin played drums.

"My ancestor John Carmichael was the third man to scale the Heights of Abraham in the Battle of Montreal. Tradition holds that in his role as aide to General Wolfe, he held the General as he died. I assume he's the man in the black coat in the painting by Benjamin West.

"I gave the name Bullet Train to the original recording this is based on. It was never performed, and in 2010 I added the bagpipe and string parts and, feeling it was significantly changed, gave it a new name."
