History
San Francisco, 1988
After their national media recognition for Rank Stranger, and following their New York tour, Max and Katie became frustrated with the limitations of their lineup, and recruited experienced professional musicians from the San Francisco scene: Snakefinger bassist Guy Carson, former Kotoja drummer Michael Corbett, and Beat Freaks guitarist Mike Elias.
They spent Spring and Summer of 1988 arranging, recording and rehearsing, then debuted at San Francisco's Paradise Lounge in front of famed producer Todd Rundgren – after which they broke up due to personal conflicts. |
