Written by Max in 1980 and newly arranged for the album Take Me Up.

"I originally wrote this piece as a post-punk instrumental, and it was performed by Terra Incognita at our debut show at Club Foot in February 1981, with Jon Spayde and Jim Dougherty providing “Burundi beat” drumming. In 2009 I rediscovered lyrics which I had probably written at the same time, and gave it this new dance arrangement."

Lyrics

You open my door
You open my heart
You're put together
Like a work of art

You give me something
To believe in
I waited so long
For that feeling

You are poetry in motion
You are poetry in motion
You are poetry in motion
Poetry in motion
