W. C. Fields on insomnia and its cure.

This snappy bit of dialogue is from the movie, Never Give a Sucker an Even Break, which starred W. C. Fields. This scene is from a rather expansive bathroom in an airplane which featured over-night sleeping bunks. A man and W. C. Fields are trying to "freshen up" in the morning:

Man: I didn't sleep well last night (said with pain).

W. C.: You didn't?

Man: I'm having trouble with insomnia.

W. C.: Oh, insomnia. I know a good cure for it - get plenty of sleep... That's what the doctor told me.

End.
