The big little truck.

by James K. Sayre

In one of our lower primary grade classes in Washington Elementary School in Mount Lebanon, we each had to talk about something that we had at home . One kid talked about his toy truck. He described it as a big little truck. Some of the kids laughed. He then suggested that it was a little big truck. More laughter. The notion of "medium-sized" had obviously not entered his vocabulary at that point. It probably did very soon after that.
