Mount Lebanon Senior High School

Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

The Great Class of 1960. That's what we called ourselves, at least for a couple of weeks on each side of Graduation Day, back in June 1960. We were told that our high school was "one of the top 38 in the country."

From the viewpoint of us now living in the beginnings of the 21st century, all that seems very far away, lost in in a very innocent time or or very oblivious time.

As for myself, I played on the Mount Lebanon High Chess Team, a minor, but interesting activity. I went on to study physics at Carnegie Tech and chemical and metallurgical engineering at Michigan, and then headed out to graduate study at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

My Email address is sayresayre if you have any comments or questions or Mt. Lebo memories to share.

Yours truly,

James K. Sayre
