Plants killed in my front yard in the mid-October 2005 during the unanounced raid by a contractor hired by the City of Oakland, California:

two 12' high perennial Blue Dawn Morning Glory vines (Ipomoeas indica),

a mature 10' high Fuchsia shrub (Fuchsia x hybrida),

one 12' high Acacia tree (Acacia sp.),

one 7' high mature white Rose bush (Rosa rubiginosa),

one 7' high mature pink Rose bush (Rosa rubiginosa),

several 7' high Himalayan Blackberry bushes (apparently plants that "volunteer" are considered as undesirable by both my conformist neighbors and the city blight code-enforcement employees: no free fruit allowed here...),

two mature Lavender bushes (Lavendual officinalis),

two clumps of Black Bamboo (Phyloostachys nigra),

one Sweet Broom shrub (Cytisus x spachianus),

one mature Licorice Plant (Helichrysum petiolare),

two Pink Rockrose perennials (Cistus x skanbergii)

one 5' high Black Cherry (Prunus pennsylvanica).

End.
